Day 1 and Mile 0 of the Alaskan Highway

Eight hours of flying later, with stops in Miles City, MT and Lefbridge, AB, we are in Dawson Creek, BC, mile zero of the Alaskan Highway started in May 1942 as part of the war effort.

Me at Mile Zero (never mind the 1250 nautical miles to get here)

  2. Very true, Naomi. But as my husband always tells me, the journey is just as important as the destination. I'm not always sure I believe him, but it's probably true.
